About Peter Wood

Peter Wood entertains audiences with the impossible. Blending amazing objects, incredible skills, and unique presentations, he is the go-to guy for great events in Baltimore and Washington, DC.

For more than two decades, Peter’s magical presentations have been enjoyed by top companies, including Frito-Lay, Aol, Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, USA Today, World Bank, and Toys R Us. Government organizations, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Naval Research Laboratory, United States Census Bureau, Federal Transit Administration, and Marine Corps Barracks also rely on his unique abilities.

When Washington’s elite and Baltimore’s movers-and-shakers need entertainment, they rely on Peter to mystify their most discerning, well-traveled colleagues and guests. He’s opened for Full House’s Dave Coulier, shared the stage with living legends at the Comedy and Magic Society, and entertained several United States ambassadors and their families.

Peter’s travels have taken him to private dining rooms, massive auditoriums, and all venues in between. Whether appearing at the Hippodrome Theater, on a private yacht in National Harbor, or inside F.B.I. headquarters, Peter can fill any space with his unparalleled showmanship and enthusiasm.

In 2011, Peter partnered with the International Spy Museum to develop an exclusive stage program, which showcases the similarities between magic and espionage. He continues to appear at the Museum multiple times each year, for both public shows and private events.

Peter is the recipient of a silver American Advertising Award, and multiple Lindsay Crawford Originality Awards, the latter judged by his peers in the Society of American Magicians local chapter. He was also the subject of a feature story in the Baltimore Sun, has appeared in Baltimore Magazine and DramaBiz Magazine, and has been a repeat guest on Fox 45 Morning News.

When not performing, Peter’s specific skillset has led him to design and consult for film projects, theatrical productions, and his fellow performers. His work has appeared in several film festivals, and on stages in Sweden, Brunei, Las Vegas, New York, and at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
