Dennis Anyone? Give away magic sets

A large percentage of today’s magicians say they got their introduction to magic from a magic set they received as a Christmas gift. So when I saw a magic set recently in one of those mail-order catalogs, I had a brainstorm — why not encourage today’s magicians to buy multiple magic sets, and then GIVE THEM AWAY?

Think how exciting it would be to watch someone you gave a magic set to, become a LIFE-LONG lover of magic, a member of the I.B.M., and an active member of your Ring. If you like this idea, here is what you do:

Buy the magic sets at a brick-and-mortar store. They need and deserve your business, and they may even give you a discount when they learn what you are doing.

OR

Buy the magic sets from an advertiser in The Linking Ring.

OR

Go on the internet and search for “magic sets.” You’ll find all sorts of kits and prices.

The bottom line, of course, is to buy magic sets and give them away. What a nice way to GIVE BACK to an industry which has been good to you.
