MIKE HARVATT is a Fulltime Professional Magician who has entertained thousands of people in live MAGIC shows during his extensive Magical career When Mike Harvatt began practicing MAGIC at age 8 he never thought that he would become a fulltime Professional Magician and Entertainer. Now, some years later, Mike Harvatt is more excited about his magic than ever . "My greatest joy," Mike says, "is performing my MAGIC and Comedy show at a school, library, birthday party or other event and making it a Magical Memory they'll cherish forever. I love to see their reactions to my MAGIC. Also I love the laughter and the people who do it; from twitters to chucklers to the ones who explode out like a galloping racehorse out of the gate, To me that is like taking a bite out of life and saying 'Just right!'- it's FUNTASTIC!" Mike's skills and personality were noticed by Magic Legend Jim "The darling of the Geritol set" Ryan who gave Mike personal one on one lessons in the Art of MAGIC. Mike's experiences are wide and varied. He has appeared in productions such as "Guys and Dolls", "Oklahoma" and more. Mike has driven a horse team and wagon on the homestead of the Ingalls family (known best for the books and television show "Little House on the Prairie.) He has shared the stage with folk singers Molly & the Tinker, The Minstrels of Mayhem (ahem), Christine Lavin and with America's foremost Magician Harry Blackstone Jr. Mike is a member of The Society of American Magicians where he serves as the Vice President of the Chicago Assembly #3, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, and is a charter member of KIDabra International.
