Brian Role' is a member of the IBM, The Malta Magician's society Ring 202, The Magic Circle, The Society of American Magicians as well as other magic associations. Brian is often described as daring, energetic, modern in style of performance and technique by audiences and his peers in magic. He won three awards for his magic during competitions organized by I.B.M. Ring 202 Malta. Brian continues to perform in Malta, Gozo and other countries in Europe and outside Europe when called upon to do so. His experience is vast, having performed on Cruise Ships in Variety Show Productions on Television and in several Hotels and Resorts worldwide. Brian Role` has been running and performing in his very own dinner show 'The Chamber of Mysteries', together with Lola Palmer in Malta. The show earned itself several TripAdvisor Awards and an I.M.S. Merlin Award. A Chronological Resume In 1996 - Brian Role` Join The Malta Magician's Society I.B.M. Ring 202 In 1997 - Brian Role` Joins The International of Magicians In 1999 - Brian is the first magician to perform 'Street Magic' on a Maltese television series 'Tlaqna'. In 2000 - Brian co-stars in a spectacular illusion show in Villahermosa Mexico, watched by over 250,000 people during the course of 35 shows in 3 weeks. In 2001 - Brian Role` and Lola Palmer tour Mallorca (Spain) for six months performing in the best hotels and resorts. In 2002 - Brian and Lola perform at the exclusive 'Leela Palace' in Goa for MPs of India, France and several other VIP guests. In 2003 - Brian and Lola stage their show at 'Le royal Meridien' in Mumbai performing 21 exclusive shows for patrons of the Royal Deluxe Hotel. In 2004 - Brian and Lola perform for the first time in Dubai launching a new collection for Westar Watches. In 2005 - Brian Role` becomes President of The Malta Magician's Society I.B.M. Ring 202 Malta and Lola take time to perform across Malta and Gozo in hotels and on television. In 2005 - Brian and Lola perform in hotels and resorts across Spain for six months. In 2006 - Brian Role and Lola Palmer create The Palmers Magic and become the Headlining Act at Esfoguero Dinner Show in Mallorca during a 3-month contract. In 2006 - The Palmers Magic take on a 6-month contract as a Headline Act aboard the Grand Voyager Cruise Ship. In 2007 - Brian and Lola perform their show 'The Magic Of The Night' For Notte Bianca in Valletta. In 2002 - Brian Role` is accepted as a member of The Magic Circle of London. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 Brian & Lola perform across Malta and Gozo, in hotels, resorts and private events as well as becoming become resident magicians with ongoing weekly appearances on various television programs - Showtime 2007-2008 - Euro Showbox 2008-2009 and on Saturday Night 2009. In 2009 - Brian Role' and Lola Palmer give an impressive performance alongside Vanni Pule' and MaryAnne Pule` during a grand scale Halloween-themed illusion show at Teatru Manoel, the first time in Malta that two top illusionists team up performing together in one big production. In 2010 - Brian and Lola, produce a grand illusion show named 'Magic In Cartoonland' once again at Malta's national theater in Malta. In 2010 - Brian performs in Qatar, for the crowds that attend the Women's World Championships of Tennis in Doha. In 2010 - Brian also travels to Germany and Norway performing on the Colorline cruise ships, with follow-up engagements on the ships until 2013. In 2011 - Brian Role` and Lola Palmer produce and direct the Magical Variety, a show featuring the top magicians of I.B.M. Ring 202 Malta at the Manoel Theater, Malta's national theater. In 2011 - Brian Role` becomes the resident magician of 'Sas-Sitta' on NET Television. In 2011 - Brian Role' and Lola Palmer start a bi-weekly exclusive dinner theater show in Malta called the 'Chamber Of Mysteries'. The show goes on to become one of the best tourist attractions in Malta with several awards and remains running despite a forced break between Mar 2020 and Mar 2021 due to Covid. In 2012 - Brian returns to perform on the Colorline Crusie Ship for two months. In 2013 - Brian and Lola travel to China to perform during the Happy Valley International Magic Festival with other famous magicians including Levent, Rocco Silano, Silvester the Jester, and others. In 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 - Brian and Lola focus on their show The Chamber of Mysteries, earning it a Merlin Award in 2017. In 2018 - Brian performs in Valencia Spain and the Amsterdam Magic Show, Netherlands with popular magician Fritz Alkamede. In 2019 - Brian Role` gives special performances in Madrid Spain, Sligo Ireland, and North Wales England at 'The Magic Bar Live' with magician Christopher Williams. In 2020 - Brian Role` joins the Society of American Magicians and performs for the International Assembly of The Society of American Magicians December Gala Show with other magicians including Kevin James. In 2021 - Brian Role` is made an envoy of the International Assembly of the Society of American Magicians for Malta and Italy. In 2021 - Brian Role` and Lola Palmer give a special Zoom Performance 'Within The Chamber' which was broadcast live from the Chamber of Mysteries, hosted by Anthony Darkstone an online show that Lance Burton attended among other world-famed magicians. In 2021 - Brian Role` and Lola Palmer perform again for the International Assembly of the Society of American Magicians Annual Gala Show with other world-famed magicians including Jay Scott Berry. In 2021 - Brian Role` is honored with the International Assembly of the Society of American Magicians Darkstone Award for his Contributions to The Art of Magic. In 2022 - Brian is back on television after taking a short break since March 2021 and performs for the popular weekly TV show 'The Entertainers' Presently - Brian Role` and Lola Palmer continue with their shows in Malta at The Chamber of Mysteries. Brian continues to perform in resorts, special events, gala dinners, corporate functions, television, trade shows, conferences and theatre shows, mastering his skills and developing his performances to provide the best magical entertainment for his audiences. |
