The magic of David Owen will delight and entertain you, whatever your age. David has been performing magic since he was a teenager, and is capable of entertaining you whether it is in a close-up situation at your dinner table, having a drink in a bar, in a crowded cabaret theatre, or in the more intimate atmosphere of your own home. Throughout his career, David has delighted and amazed audiences throughout the UK, Europe, South America, USA, the Middle East, the Caribbean and on cruise ships, gaining international recognition. As a result of this, his magic is truly international, and is capable of crossing all boundaries. The description 'Simply Magic' stems from the fact that David's style of magic has evolved to appear very simple, but will leave you totally baffled and astounded, whether the magic happens while playing cards are held in the spectators hands, or if David is reading the minds of his audience. David is a memeber of The Magic Circle, the world's most prestigious magic club, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, and is also a member of Equity, from which he benefits from Public Liability Insurance, which is a must for all professional performers. David has just returned from Nevis in the West Indies, where, for the last 6 months, he has been performing magic nightly for the diners at Yachtsman Grill. David has also worked extensively on UK and Caribbean based cruise ships, performing regularly as a Children's Entertainer and balloon modeller, as well as Entertainments manager and cabaret and close-up magician. |
