About John Palumbo

As a young boy, John worked in a magic shop, where he became intrigued with magic.  It was to those early years of performing magic that he attributes his confidence and later success in business.

As a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and recipient of the Order of Merlin, John has continued learning, performing, and finding practical uses for magic.  Mastering the art of storytelling, for instance, is the difference between someone who does tricks and someone who performs magic.  John, who has been in sales for more than three decades, found that there is a similar impact in the world of sales.  He quickly learned that if he applied his storytelling skills that he mastered through performing magic to his sales presentations, that his sales would triple.  

John set out to research consumer behavior and to perfect the art of storytelling, which eventually led him to study hypnosis.  He is a Member of the National Guild of Hypnotist and is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).  His book, SalesNosis: The Art of Influence and Persuasion, is the result of his many years studying consumers, learning what makes them tick, and applying that research to sales.  

John is now an international speaker, author, and expert in the field of influence and persuasion.  In recent years, he has been invited to speak and lecture on the science of sales and influence around the world, including Ukraine, Mexico, Poland, Canada, and Jamaica.
