David is a professional, award winning magical entertainer. Originally from New Zealand. Now after living in South Africa for 36 years, David is now resident in Brisbane Australia. David's expertise comes from having been a children's entertainer and mentalist in New Zealand and South Africa His childrens and family magic show is a riot of fun with comedy conjuring and gags. Lots of audience involvement and mystery. Using standard magical props, balloon antics, plate spinning, music, puppets and live doves. David's shows really incorporates a strong sense of excitement and wonder. David's act will entertain and enthrall children and adults of all ages. David is an honorary life, (50 plus years) member of the South African Magical Society and a member of the Queensland Society of Magicians. David is a former life member of the American Mentalists Association. David has appeared as a guest lecturer and performer at a number of overseas conventions and aboard cruise liners including the ill-fated Achille Lauro. Recently, David has completed a 210 Page manuscript titled " A Journey Through A History of Magic" that traces the lives and times of over 70 magicians who have earned a place in our magical heritage. The book includes early historic magicians from early Egypt and illusionists and current day popular performers. The book contains a number of rare black and white and coloured pictures. The manuscript is now available as an eBook from Lybrary.com as an instant download, or direct from the author via e-mail. This manuscript is a fascinating journey through the history of our art.
