About Conan Liu

Conan Liu (刘果楠) is a professional magician and entertainer. Starting learning magic at age eight, he became a teenage star performing on China National Television Network and an international awarded magician with experience in more than 1000 shows and over 350,000 followers on Weibo, the biggest social media in China.

He is also a magician member of International Brotherhood of Magicians and Academy of Magical Arts at the sanctuary of magic, the Hollywood Magic Castle. He is now on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Chinese Magicians.

In 2009, Conan Liu made his first TV appearance on "The Gold-Medal Magicians(金牌魔术团)" of Hunan TV Network æ¹–南卫视, where the celebrity magician, Lu Chen 刘谦, was left impressed after watching 13-year-old Conan's act. In addition to that, Conan also made numerous appearances on CCTV--China National TV Network (中国央视). In 2012 and 2016, he joined the cast of the Children's day Gala and Youth's day Gala (CCTV-1) respectively, which made him the youngest magician ever to perform at the CCTV's #1 Studio.

In 2015, he made history by being the first Chinese magician to win the World Championships of Performing Arts, which is cited as the Olympics of Performing Arts. Two years later, he was invited for guest appearance on the Finale Gala show of the 21st World Championships of Performing Arts in the U.S. and the Celebration Gala of National Day in Malaysia.

He has been featured in various news outlets--CCTV-14 aired his 30-mins special in the network's Grow ING 成长在线 series (October 2011); North America ZW-TV 北美中旺电视 interviewed him as part of the "Turn on LA" series (September 2019). His unique and adaptive act is the embodiment of modern magic - hilarious, shocking and full of new and original tricks unlike any others.
