Fifth day of IBM/SAM convention was a blast!

The fifth day of the I.B.M./S.A.M. Combined Convention continued on Friday, never pausing or slowing down even though it was a national holiday. In fact, many magicians appreciate having the convention during the holiday week so they can have extra time off to attend the convention. Many take vacation time to attend.

The Vendors Exhibiton opened at 9 am, and all the vendors need to be visited and thanked for playing an important role in the success of an important convention. Open blocks of time were planned specifically to allow time with the vendors. At 9:30, "The Magic of Germany -- In Session" was held, filling much of the rest of the morning.

At 1 pm, the FISM Close-up Contest was held, followed by Lecture number six, by Steve Kline.

Following a Hospitality Hour at 5 pm, the I.B.M./S.A.M. Combined Banquet & Awards were held in the Majestic Ballroom. Then to top that off, everyone moved to the Ferrara Theatre, where the I.B.M./S.A.M. and People's Choice Stage Contest Finals were held. Finally, yet another session of the Richard Turner Experience happened at 11 pm.
