(Zappo the Magician &amp;quot;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Larry Wright&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;quot; •  Computer Brain) The concept of this mathematical magic trick and similar effects has been around for a zillion years.  For all I know, some magician in Ancient Egypt may have come up with the original idea... I think his name was Bubbie.  This presentation, however, seems to resonate with today’s computer savvy youngsters, and I use it when called upon to teach a magic effect to kids.  I am sharing this effect to kick off the discussion in the Children’s Magic section of the brand new IBM Web Portal.  I call this Computer Brain. . .
