The I.B.M. Endowment and Development Foundation


In 1973, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Ohio, created a financial trust agreement specifically to underwrite charitable, scientific, literary and/or educational purposes, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals, within the United States or any of its possessions.
 
The name of the trust is The Endowment and Development Foundation of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (EDF).

The EDF is operated under the direction of three Trustees,  appointed by the International Brotherhood of Magicians Board of Directors, and a committee appointed by the  EDF Chairman.  The current Trustees are Joseph M. Bertuzzi, Earle J. Christenberry and Dr. William E. Spooner.  The current committee members are William Evans Atty, Dr. Robert Escher, Dr. William A. Wells and Jack White.

The Trustees manage the Trust; the Trustees shall act by a vote of a majority of their number at any given time. Any instrument required to be executed by this trust shall be valid if executed in the name of this trust by such a majority of the Trustees.  Each Trustee shall serve without compensation for his services, but all expenses of this trust or any Trustee action hereunder shall be paid by the Trustees from the trust fund.
 
The Trustees shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Director of the International Brotherhood of Magicians
