Breaking News: Jack Kodell dies at 84

Word came today, May 17, that Jack Kodell died in Florida this morning, at age 84. He is often given credit for being the pioneer of a bird act. In his case, it was parakeets. Originally from Minnesota, he moved to Chicago in 1941, and met George Boston, who would become his mentor. Kodell, Boston and Cantu developed "A Fantasy in Birds" and the rest is history.
