James L. ClarkClark leaps to action,
heads to aid Haitians

Mel Kientz sends this along to inform us about the work of James L. Clark, who is on a mission to help the people of Haiti. He believes in action, not talk. Trained as a combat medic, James served in both combat arms and special operations.

James L. Clark is one of America's top purveyor of chicanery and other subterfuges of the mind.  He is an award-winning performer who has amazed audiences since the age of 13 when he was booked to give a show for a local printing company. By his sixteenth birthday he has graduated from close-up sleight of hand to stage illusions and advanced escapes, many of which he designed and built himself.

With decades of experience, training and practice now behind him, his skills are so refined and flawless that many who have witnessed him perform have mistaken his abilities as being something much more than mere trickery - an assertion he is quick to rebuff.

While James is extremely well versed in nearly every aspect of the magical arts, he now focuses predominately on subterfuge of the mind.

In addition to his live performances and appearances on television and stage, James is also recognized by his fellow magicians for contributions to the art of magic itself. In 2006 he co-founded, edited and published Street Magic Magazine, which was circulated worldwide and quickly became one of the most cutting edge presentations of magic in print. He is now editor of Magician Magazine and he writes magic articles for a number of other publications. He has also produces over 40 magic products many of which are his own inventions that are sold to magicians from LA to Amsterdam and Tokyo to New York.

Aside from his interest in the magical arts, there is much more to his contributions to the world at large. He was the first America to be accepted to the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at the Royal Military College of Science in Shrievenham, England where he earned a Master's degree in Global Security; his thesis was on Homeland Security.

Putting knowledge and ability to work ...

As you have read and heard from all the news services, the country of Haiti was hit by a major earthquake. James Clark is one of the First Responders who will provide search and rescue assistance in Haiti. James is perfectly suited for this mission but he could use some financial support. If you are not familiar with who he is or his background, then take a look at a YouTube link featuring The 2008 Hero's Awards below. This will explain it all. Please take the time to watch this and learn what he does and how his assistance can be invaluable at the right place at the right time.

If your heart tells you to help the people of Haiti by other means, your prayers and good thoughts will also be greatly appreciated and needed not only for James but also for the people of Haiti during this particularly difficult time.
