    The I.B.M. is strongly committed to young magicians. “After all,” said Dr. Aubrey Fine, chairman of youth activities at the Nashville convention, “they are the future of magic. They deserve our support.”
    “Magic Youth International” is the name for the I.B.M.’s youth division (7 to 17 years of age), and this year’s Convention will have four special MYI X-treme sessions.   • Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. -- Welcome Party with Gold Cups winner Oscar Munoz. He will give an interactive lecture, including teaching magic, too. There will be snacks, soft drinks, and lots of fun.
  • Thursday, 11:30-12:30: Magic Teach-in with special instructors Mel Kientz, Jerry Schnepp, Jr., Jim Henson, and Aubrey Fine. Bring a deck of cards or two with you.
  • Friday, 3:30-5:00 -- An Afternoon with Steve Bargatze and friends. They’ll perform, teach, and give lots of great advice. Don’t miss this one!
  • Saturday, 3-4:30 -- Magic Youth International Show. Young magicians will work toward this show all week. Come see some of the best young magicians perform.
