NOMINATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL OFFICES
OF THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF MAGICIANS

In accordance with the IBM Constitution (Article.VI), the Board of Trustees has nominated candidates for the election in 2009, for the international offices, whose terms begin in July. These nominees for Board of Trustees and nominees for Territory Vice Presidents (TVPs).are listed below.  The terms of office are two years for TVPs and one year for International officers except for Members of the Executive Committee the term is three years.

Additional candidates for offices whether for the I. B. M Board of Trustees or Territory Vice Presidents may be nominated by the membership through properly executed official petitions obtained from, addressed to and received by the Ballot and Election Committee at I.B.M. Headquarters:

Petitions must be received no later than February 1, 2009.

Please note, persons signing petitions must have on the petition their legibly printed names, full address and their IBM number. Absence of any of these items will make their signature on the petition invalid. Further, only members in good standing in the Active, Associate and Honorary categories are eligible to hold an I.B.M. office and vote in elections

PETITIONING FOR OFFICE ON THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The official petitions, with valid signatures of 1% of the I.B.M. membership as of November 1 2008, must be received by the deadline of February 1 to enter into an election with the Board of Trustees nominees. The Board of Trustees nominees and their term of office are listed below:

PETITIONING FOR OFFICE OF TERRTORY VICE PRESIDENT

For Territorial Vice Presidents, (within the territories made up of states, provinces countries or other political divisions that the Board of Trustees has developed) the persons seeking to enter the election for TVP  must have a minimum of twenty (20) signatures from qualified members living within the individual's territory. The due date for the petitions, to the I.B.M. office is February 1, 2009,
