April 6-13, 2008 • Riverside, California
The International Festival for Deaf Magicians will take place on the beautiful campus of the California School for the Deaf at Riverside (CSDR) in Riverside, California, U.S.A. Deaf magicians from over a dozen different countries are expected to attend this event that takes place every two years. Some of the countries that have participated in the past festivals are: Russia, England, Italy, Cyprus, U.S.A., Poland, Japan, India, Ukraine, Spain, Portugal, Canada, and Germany. We look forward to other countries joining us.
Please join us for a week-long event that will include competitions and an opportunity to socialize and learn from each other. Professional magicians will provide lectures to assist us in improving our skills in the art of magic. The location of this festival gives us close proximity to major venues in the Southern California area. Excursions are being planned to the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Additional plans are being made for a trip to Disneyland and Las Vegas, Nevada, the magic capital of the world.
We have accommodations being provided at the dormitories of the California School for the Deaf-Riverside (CSDR). Email for details. Other nearby hotel accommodations will be available upon request. CSDR is conveniently located to the nearby international airport of Ontario, California which is about an hour's drive
