- Duties of your IBM TVP:
- I welcome all new Michigan IBM members either through an email letter or through a letter by regular mail.
- I visit each Michigan IBM Ring (affiliated magic club) at least once a year for one of its regular meetings. I may also visit or participate in one of its events.
- I may present awards or certificates, and the like to ring members or rings for achievements and accomplishments. Example: present the handing of the gavel to the incoming president of the ring.
- I urge each ring to strive to become a Quality Ring through the Ring Quality Program. This way, the ring can fully better fulfill the needs of its members.
- I remind each ring to update its roster and officers once each year. This is especially important for contact information for the ring on the IBM web site.
- I submit an Annual Report to Matt Episcopo who oversees all the TVP's. The report updates her with information, ideas, and concerns from each Michigan ring. She provides this information to the Board at the Convention Board Meeting.
- I promote Michigan magic events in Michigan. One major event is the annual Michigan Magic Day. It is a one-day magic convention (usually with a night before party) hosted by one of the Michigan magic clubs, usually an IBM ring. I help advertise the event.
- In short, I provide a link between the IBM members of Michigan and the Board of Trustees to promote cooperation and communication. I also give assistance, advice, and ceremonial support to each ring in Michigan.
