- He has 1 daughter and 6 sons. These future magician assistants already have the magic bug and enjoy performing as much as watching magic. This also has trained Mike to handle lots of different situations that kids can create.
- Mike continues to perform weekly at Children's Mercy Hospital Northland. His perfoming in the lobby helps pass the wait time and provides a wonderful distraction waiting for the doctor.
- Beginning in late 2006 Mike took the leadership position for the Society of Young Magicians Club Kansas City Assembly #9. Each month he teaches kids tricks and helps the kids performing their own tricks too.
