- Besides his magical career, Mike works full time as Director of IS for a local plastics molder, Fort Wayne Plastics, Inc.
- Mike also can be heard hosting a Jazz and Blues radio show on the local public radio station, WBOI. You can listen on line at Northeast Indiana Public Radio
- He is also doing a 4 hour blues only show every Sunday evening from 5 until 9pm Eastern time on an all blues all the time internet radio station, The World of Blues. Stop by for a chat some time. I am always available then and there!
- He spends time in the out of doors backpacking and canoeing out of his favorite outfitters, Earth Adventures
- He supports his love of fine wine by working at a local liquor store as a wine specialist.
- He juggles occasionally with the local ‘tossers’, Jugglers Anonymous
- Mike loves ‘fantasy role playing games’ like Dungeons and Dragons and reads a lot of science fiction and fantasy
- Mike is a founding member of the Fort Wayne Linux Users Group
