Daniel Jay Robison grew up in Warren, Ohio and started practicing ventriloquism at the early age of 7 when he went to a friends house one day and got up early before anyone else got up. With nothing to do he went into the other room and found a record player and Jimmy Nelson's record, "Instant Ventriloquism". He put side one on and started listening. He went to the bathroom mirror and began practicing the famous "A Boy Bought a Basketball". And so the journey began. So he met up with magician Johnny Ace Palmer and the two shared secrets and a friendship. Through the years they performed together and Johnny introduced Dan to another friend, Brian Scott "BO" Tanner.

Johnny has since won many awards and has become an icon in the magic industry. Daniel Jay and Bo still hold down the fort in Warren, Ohio. Daniel Jay entertains at churches and local events and is a member of IBM Ring 2 and is frequently seen hanging out in Middlefield, Ohio at Perfect Occasion Costumes and Magic.

Daniel Jay has been married for more than 25 years to his beautiful wife Sue (Fabian) Robison and they have 2 children (who aren't really children anymore!) Andrew and Breanne. Daniel Jay Robison continues performing when he can and also works as an Advertising Consultant for AutoTrader.com. He is the Music Minister at his church and continues to seek God's will for both him and his family.
