Please Check Back! ** The East Coast Super Session Aug. 18-20, 2006 ** The registration was limited to 100 people, which allowed ample opportunities to meet and chat with everyone. I won't go into the Lectures and Close-Up Show, fearing I'll forget someone. Surfice to say the presentations were all very high quality. There were three highlights for me: First, Richard Street (Nashville, TN) shared the hotel room with me. He's one of my greatest friends and we always have a great time together. Next, I finally met Mike Gallo after 26 years in this crazy business. What a nice guy, with a ton of talent! I look forward to meeting him again. Finally, it was a genuine thrill to see JC Wagner again. (Yes, he's back in action and better than ever.) We haven't seen one another since we worked together at Magic Island in Newport Beach, CA. (Get this... over 22 years ago!) Lots of Hugs, Grins, Reminissing and Magic were shared between us. It was really wonderful to see him again and to know he's back in action. My humble congratulations to all involved in the Convention. I can only assume this will become an annual event. COUNT ME IN NEXT YEAR! *** News Flash! *** News Flash! *** News Flash! *** On Thursday, August 24th, I went to Duke University Transplant Clinic (Raleigh-Durham, NC) for a Biopsy of my new, recently transplanted heart. Great news! The results were "1 A" and they also reduced some of my medications. I'll soon be back in the game, if this continues! |
