- Bill Ragsdale entertains with magic, ventriloquism, music, and audience participation in shows that are fun for everyone. To see two routines with Dudley Vanderbilt click on the left of this page to see video clips. Bill is a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians having joined when he was 17 years old. He is also a member of the Society of American Magicians. He is a graduate of Hampden Sydney College in ‘62 and Duke Divinity School in ’67. He is a retired Methodist clergy having served for 41 years. Currently he is serving as chaplain at the N.C. State Veterans Nursing Home in Salisbury, NC.
- While on leave as a pastor he spent 10 years performing professionally in school assemblies and theme parks. He has performed over 2000 school assembly shows and over 1500 shows during three summers at Santa’s Land in Cherokee, NC and Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock, NC. He has worked in every aspect of performing magic from birthday parties to civic clubs, corporate banquets and picnics, art festivals, trade shows,schools, restaurant magic, churches, and illusion stage shows.
